How can i guarantee confidentiality of my idea?

We are happy to sign an NDA, and always engage our associates on a confidential basis. We cannot sacrifice our professionalism and reputation or expose ourselves to legal claims by breaching client confidentiality

Is it necessary to provide full project details to you?

In order for us to assist you properly, we need to know all the details of the research you wish us to undertake(or product you'd like to build). For a product we need to know what it is, what it will be used for, the target market, whether it is a part that fits in with other parts, the level of strength of material that is required, any future modifications or improvements you have in mind and so on. Such details will enable an efficient product development process, and can prevent delays and reduce the overall costs, and the number of tweaks or changes that have to be made along the development timeline. They are also important in terms of the product lifecycle such that if we know that a certain improvement will be made in two or three years time we can build in capacity into the prototype to make incorporation of such improvements that much easier. For example if you are designing Mach 1 of a smart toilet bag, but you would like Mach 3 (say 3 / 4 years down the line) of the thing to have the capability of communicating with a mobile application. That knowledge in itself can enable us to select electronic components or transceivers that will ensure the extension can be incorporated with less difficulty, as opposed to having to re-design the electronics of the Mach 3 version from scratch.

What are the typical embedded Projects that your company has worked on?

Our company specialises in the development of a wide range of embedded systems. We have expertise in working with various hardware platforms, including Friendly ARM boards and Arduino platforms, and utilise a variety of software packages and tools.

Some key examples of the embedded systems we have developed in the past include:

  • Image processing systems: These systems involve complex algorithms for image acquisition, processing, and analysis.
  • Motion detection systems: Employed in security, logistics and other sectors. These systems use advanced algorithms for object detection, tracking, and anomaly detection.
  • Traffic control systems: Research to use Bio-mimicry in intelligent traffic transportation systems management.
  • Timing and automation systems: Used in smart home devices to enable precise control of various functions, such as lighting, temperature, and security systems.

I am being threatened with a Patent infringement lawsuit. What should i do?

  • Consult with a Patent Attorney: The first and most important step is to consult with a qualified patent attorney as they will be able to:

    • Assess the Situation: Evaluate the specific claims made against you and the strength of the plaintiff's patent.
    • Guide Your Search: Advise you on the most relevant areas to search for prior art based on the specifics of the case.
    • Conduct a Thorough Search: Conduct a search on your behalf looking at  specialised databases and providing expertise in interpreting the search results. (We can help with this)
    • Strategise Your Defense: Develop a strong defense strategy based on the prior art found.
  • Conduct Your Own Preliminary Research: While a patent attorney is essential, you can also conduct some preliminary research yourself. We can help you do this, so that you clearly understand the technology involved and potentially identify relevant areas for further investigation.

  • Document Your Findings: Carefully document all the prior art you find, including the source, date, and any relevant details. This documentation will be important for your defense.
