Convergence AI releases Proxy 1.0, an automated AI assistant

Move over DeepSeek, Proxy 1.0 has come to Town

Convergence AI has announced the launch of Proxy 1.0, its latest AI agent aimed at automating web-based tasks.

This new software promises to transform the way individuals interact with technology by providing a seamless, almost human-like interface for managing tasks, scheduling, and even making decisions based on user preferences.

Last month, in a significant milestone, Proxy 1.0  outshone both OpenAI's Operator model and Anthropic's Claude model in the WebVoyager benchmark, a comprehensive test designed to evaluate agentic capabilities across 600+ web-based tasks. Proxy 1.0 achieved an industry-leading score of 88% accuracy, demonstrating its proficiency in navigating complex web environments, understanding user commands, and executing tasks with minimal human intervention. This performance not only positions Proxy 1.0 as a leading AI agent but also showcases Convergence AI's advancements in machine learning and AI applications.

"Proxy is the result of years of intensive thought and development about what’s possible with a fully automated AI assistant. Yet this is just the start."

Unique Capabilities

The superior performance of Proxy 1.0 can be attributed to its unique capabilities such as task automation, where it can perform and remember repetitive tasks, adapt to user needs over time, and handle parallel processing for increased efficiency. Unlike some competitors that might require human oversight for certain operations, Proxy 1.0 bypasses these limitations, providing full results in scenarios like finding recipes or booking appointments in under a minute. This combination of speed, autonomy, and accuracy sets Proxy 1.0 apart, making it a formidable player in the AI assistance market.

Automation

Proxy 1.0's core feature is its ability to work autonomously, with a focus on task automation, parallel processing, and high accuracy rates in web navigation tasks. It offers a free tier for users with limited sessions per day, with premium features available for a subscription. This pricing strategy probably means Proxy 1.0 will be accessible to a broader audience, providing an edge in terms of cost compared to some of its competitors.
